GOVERNANCE:  The SBT Director has the right to resolve all questions and disputes.  All decisions made are final and binding.

ELIGIBILITY:  The SBT is open to all male or female bowlers with the exception of current PBA Exempt players.   The SBT Director has the right to refuse any bowler at his discretion.

ENTRY FEE:  CASH Only.  Initial Entry = $100.  Re-entries are $85 (second), $80 (third), and $75 (fourth/fifth)

Any bowler who bowls at lest three squads and does not make the cut will get the first re-entry price in next tournament.  Semi-final qualifiers can bowl for Brackets in additional squads for a $20 Fee.  Registration begins 30 minutes prior to each squad.   

GUARANTEES:  The SBT has guaranteed $2,000 for first place and a prize fund of $6,000.  The prize fund will be posted before completion of the semi-finals.  All unclaimed prizes will be mailed within three weeks of completion of the tournament. 

TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS:  If circumstances outside of our control (i.e. fire, flood, etc…) make it impossible to complete the tournament, all unused entry fees will be returned.  If semi-finals or finals have already started, money will be split evenly amongst those bowlers remaining in the tournament.

DRESS CODE:  No short shorts or midriff tops are allowed.  Collared shirts are preferred.

SPORTSMANSHIP:  A warning and subsequent suspension may be given to anyone acting in a way requiring such a warning and/or suspension as deemed by the SBT Director.  The SBT Director reserves the right to disqualify anyone, without a refund, for a first or subsequent offense. 

TIEBREAKERS:  Ties for the last qualifying spot in each squad (and for Round 2 Top 10 or semi-final byes) will be broken by a 9^th and 10^th frame roll-off.  Ties in head-to-head matchups (including a first place tie in the Finals) will also be broken with a 9^th and 10^th frame roll-off.   Except for the head-to-head matchup ties, we will allow two practice shots on each lane prior to roll-off.  Prize money will be split for all other cashing (when score does not determine advancement into next round) positions.  

SEMI-FINALS:  Semi-finalists will bowl three games to cut to the Top 10.  Pins do not carry over from qualifying.  Top two cumulative scores for those three games will receive a bye into Round 3.  Round 2 will consist of remaining eight bowling one game head-to-head with a random drawing for opponent and lane assignment.  Round 3 will consist of remaining six (four Round 2 winners plus two Round 2 byes) bowling one game head-to-head with a random drawing for opponent and lane assignment. 

FINALS:  Winning three bowlers from Round 3 will bowl one game for first through third positions.

SCORER MALFUNCTION:  In the case of an automatic score malfunction with lost scores (that cannot be agreed upon), games will be re-bowled.   If there is 100% consensus on scores (from all bowlers on the pair and any witnesses) in any round, the match will continue and scores will be counted.   In any scenario, the SBT Director can rule that scores are valid and make a decision if game should be continued or started over anew.
